You may recall that we entered a Home Depot/Breakfast Television Renovation contest. The deal was you could win a renovation of a dismal room in your house - whatever could be accomplished in 24hrs by the Home Depot team. There was a monetary cap too, I think, but I don’t remember how much it was.

Shannon and I each entered a photo, which can be viewed here and here. Shannon submitted the bedroom, and I took the kitchen. We would have entered more, but you could only enter one room per person.

I think that the pictures are particulary scintillating in their dismalness. However, apparently not enough to garner the big prize, as neither of our phones rang on Monday telling us that our rooms were horrid enough to be renovated.

Which really begs the question: What horrific state was the winner’s room in!?
